Johnny Alumni Page -- FAQ

The Unofficial Johnny Alumni Page is the place to list your electronic/cyber and conventional address information. It also is most anything else you want it to be -- a place of humor, an electronic archive of Johnny list digests, and the repository of documents of particular interest to the St. John's College community. Also, just added is the Johnny Unofficial Bulletin Board, where you may post any information you would like to share with the community.

Address listings are organized in two ways -- alphabetically, and by class. When you add a new listing to the page, your name and class are listed in both categories. Adding a listing -- The simplest way to add a listing is to utilize the automated process that is activated when you click on the text/link, "use the new automated system," at the top of the main alumni web page. If you missed that link, and your browser is forms capable (most browsers are these days -- it can't hurt to try), the automated process can be accessed from here.

Activating the above link will take you to a page of simple forms to fill out with the address information you would like added to the Alumni Web Page. This is also the best method for revising your listing, in case of moves or email changes, etc.

You may add any address information here that you would like. All listings included email addresses, and many include conventional address information also, i.e., street address, work address, telephone, fax, and pager numbers. If you have a home page on the World Wide Web, you may list it here also. If for some reason (rare, but it happens) the automated process doesn't work for you, send your information to bfant@charm.net, and I will post it manually.

Adding a notice -- You may add a notice following the same automated process as above. The initial notice tells of extended travel plans and solicits information and comment regarding those plans. Virtually anything may be posted -- announcement of a new birth, change in marital status, academic pursuit or achievement, wanted to buy or sell, as an example of a short list.

If for some reason (rare, but it happens) the automated process doesn't work for you, compose and send your information to me at bfant@charm.net, and I will post it manually.
