Howard Fisher, one member of the three member Cttee (with Curtis Wilson & Adam Schulman), left the conversation room at that moment to bring in an (a first?) edition of the Principia. There were still perplexities expressed about how the third law could possibly work over distance. This was an aftermath of Dana Densmore's talk. There was certainly a comic moment when a student came up to the board to show how he thought another body affected ,say, a moon going around the earth. Then several of the visiting lecturers--maybe all three--rushed up to correct that student. There were lots of miscellaneous questions, as there were supposed to be, addressed to one or more of the participating lecturers. There was typical end of the conference gemutlichkeit with the Cttee members expressing gratitude to the visiting lecturers and to the other visitors, and the visiting lecturers saying what a wonderful community St. John's has. All seemed to me to be very sincere in their appreciation. Sorry that I can't be such an able reporter as Tom Geyer was, but he is a pro. Best wishes, Sam Kutler
