Mr. Gillen, despite your graceful maneuver to get this discussion off
list, I will reply on list, in quite simple terms.  Your society sounds
just, equitable, eminently ordered, logical, functional, and downright
piss poor boring and suffocatingly stifling.  I like the wildness and
bullshit of things as they are, even when I get the short end of the
stick.  I recoil in utter distaste from your vision of how things should
be, because there is no room in the vision for spontaneity, wackiness,
irrationality, wildness, and profligate laziness.  These are true American
values.
