he Mooks - a dance band playing a mixture of Reggae, R&B, Soca, New Orleans Funk, Rhythm and Jazz, Lounge-abilly and original songs. The band features up to five veteran musicians who are among the most experienced players in the Baltimore / Washington region. Some of the musicians have toured the world and others have played all over the East Coast and in Saint Barthelemy in the French West Indies.
The Mooks is now booking weddings, parties and shows in the 2006-2007 Season.

The band includes: Leo McLaughlin, guitar and slide guitar; Bob Friedman, bass and vocals; Dave Fairall, saxophones and vocals; and "Hoppy" Hopkins, drums and vocals. The fifth piece of the ensemble is either sax, wind synth and keyboard virtuoso, Paul Soroka or one of a group of keyboardists including "Mookie" (no kidding!) Siegel.
