Acres or size: 4,485 square feet
Description: Beginning corner N.E. side of Ross Street in the village of Coalville, then North 41 1/4 degrees East 52 feet to a corner of Lot no. 33 in the plan of lots of the town of Coalville made by the Leigh and Susquehanna Coal Company; then with lot 33 North 48 3/4 degrees West 127 feet to Railroad Street; then with Railroad Street South 15 degrees East 93 5/10 feet to a corner; continuing with Railroad Street South 48 3/4 degrees E 47 1/2 feet to the beginning.
Covenants: Surface of the ground rights only, Leigh & Susquehanna retained all mineral rights. "And it is expressed by understood and agreed by the acceptance of this Deed that the said Jonas H. Read his heirs and asigns shall fence said lot on any and all the lines adjoining any land of the said Leigh & Susquehanna Coal Company while the same remains in ownership of the said The Leigh & Susquehanna Coal Company. And shall also keepeth and maintain good fences on the lines adjoinning yards of the said Lehigh and Susquehanna Coal Company."

Description: Beginning at a corner of Lot no. 32 in the village of Coalville on the NW side of Ross Street, then with Ross Street South 41 1/4 degrees East 52 feet to a corner of Lot no. 34 in the plan of lots of the town of Coalville made by the Leigh and Susquehanna Coal Company; then with lot 34 North 48 3/4 degrees West 127 feet to a corner of a street or alley; then with the street or alley North 15 degrees West 35 feet to a corner of an alley parallel to Ross Street; then with the Southeast side of the alley South 41 1/4 degrees E to the corner of lot 32; then with lot 32 South 48 3/4 degrees E 154 feet to the place of beginning.

Property location: Lot in Ashley Borough, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania. Although there is no back reference to earlier deeds, the metes and bounds of this property are clearly those of lots 33 and 34 in Coalville, which became Ashley Borough. Ashley is not a part of Hanover Township. It is however, surrounded on all four sides by the township.

Description: Beginning at post a corner of Ross Street, South 42 degrees West 104 feet to a corner of an alley; then North 48 degrees West 45 feet; North 15 degrees West 123 feet to a post; North 42 degrees 42 feet to a post; South 48 E 150 feet to a post the place of beginning.
