Olive's aunt, Sarah Ann Hankison, married John's second cousin, once removed, Isaac Read Konkle (Mary Read3, John2, Joseph1). Their son, Andrew H. Konkle (who was Olive's first cousin and John's third cousin), married John Kerr's first cousin Achsah Ann Luse (see Mary Ann Kerr above). In 1920, John and Olive lived in the Village of Marksboro. The lived next door to John's aunt Lydia (Armstrong) Kerr, the widow of Ira C. Kerr. John and Olive were renting their property. As Lydia Kerr owned her property, it is very possible that they were renting a home from her. There was no occupation listed for John (1920 United States Census, Enumeration District 153, Frelinghuysen Township, Warren County, New Jersey, Sheet 4B). John Kerr died the year following the 1920 census. He and Olive are buried in Marksboro Presbyterian Church Yard, Marksboro, Warren County, New Jersey.

He married on 22 January 1890, his second cousin, (1036) Elizabeth "Lizzie" Ayers5, the daughter of Jacob Cummins Ayers and Sarah Maria Read4 (Samuel D. Read3, Samuel Read2, Joseph Read1). Frank Kerr is listed on the 1900 United States Federal Census as a 30 year old, single male, who was a resident of Hope Township. His occupation is listed as miller. He owned his property, but it was mortgaged (1900 United States Federal Census, Enumeration District 189, Hope Township, Warren County, New Jersey, sheet 4B, 7 June 1900). He married Israella Swayze (McCord 2000), some time after 7 June 1900 when the census was taken, but before 17 May 1901, when their son John was born. The 1910 census indicates that Frank and Israella had been married 9 years when the census was taken. Israella was born in 1866 in New Jersey and died in 1961. In 1910, Frank and Israella, and their son John, lived in Hope Township on the Bridgeville Road. Frank still owned a mortgaged mill which produced flour and feed (1910 United States Federal Census, Enumeration District 131, Hope Township, Warren County, New Jersey, sheet number 16B, 12 May 1910). William was still a farmer in 1930. He and his daughter Grace lived in the home together, Eliza had died in 1924. He married in circa 1861, Lydia Jane Armstrong, daughter of John Armstrong and Martha Luse. Lydia's uncle, Aaron Luse, married Ira's sister, Mary Ann Kerr. Lydia's first cousin, William Luse, Jr., married Ira's second cousin, Hulda Read4 (Isaac III3, John2, Joseph1). Lydia Jane Armstrong was born 25 November 1839 and died in 1929. In 1860, Ira lived with his parents in Frelinghuysen Township. He was single and 28 years. The census gives his occupation as farmer. He owned a personal estate valued at $500. His future wife, Lydia lived in Frelinghuysen Township with her father, who was a widower and her 28 year old half-sister Matilda. Matilda Armstrong was her father's daughter by his fist wife, Lydia Kirkpatrick. She was born 4 November 1826 and died 2 October 1903 (1860 United States Federal Census, Frelinghuysen Township, Warren County, New Jersey, pages 25, 27). By 1870, Ira and Lydia were married. The 1870 United States Federal Census for Frelinghuysen Township, Warren County, New Jersey, lists Ira as a farmer with real estate valued at $7000. His personal estate was worth $1200. He and Lydia still lived on a farm in Frelinghuysen Township in 1880. Their son William worked on the farm as a farm hand. Lydia's half-sister, Matilda Armstrong also lived in the household (1880 United States Federal Census, Frelinghuysen Township, Warren County, New Jersey, page 318D). In 1881, Ira was an elder of Marksboro Presbyterian Church in Frelinghuysen Township (Snell 1881:690). The 1900 census lists Ira as a retired farmer. He owned his farm free and clear of a mortgage and other liens. Other members of the household included Lydia's half-sister Matilda Armstrong (age 72) and Ira's younger sister Margaret Hannah Kerr (age 66). According to the census, Ira and Lydia had been married 39 years and had had only one child (1900 United States Federal Census, Ennumeration District 184, Frelinghuysen Township, Warren County, New Jersey, sheet 1A). Ira died two years after the census was taken. In 1920, Lydia Kerr lived in the village of Marksboro, Frelinghuysen Township. She owned her own home and may have been renting a home to her nephew John Wesley Kerr and his wife Olive (Hankinson) Kerr. John and Olive lived next-door to Lydia (1920 United States Federal Census, Frelinghuysen Township, Warren County, New Jersey, Sheet 4B). Ira and Lydia are buried in Marksboro Presbyterian Church Yard, Marksboro, Warren County, New Jersey.

In 1880, he lived at home with his parents in Frelinghuysen Township and was employed as a farm hand on the family farm (1880 United States Federal Census, Frelinghuysen Township, Warren County, New Jersey, page 318D). According to the 1930 census, William was a veteran. Given his date of birth it is probable that he served in the Spanish-American War. William married on 30 November 1887, Victoria A. Simmons (Metzler n.d.; McCord 2000). She was born in 1863 and died 1955. In 1920, William and Victoria Kerr lived on the Blairstown Road in Frelinghuysen Township. They owned their farm free and clear of any mortgages. They engaged in general farming. No children are listed in the household in 1920 (1920 United States Federal Census, Enumeration District 153, Felinghuysen Township, Warren County, New Jersey, sheet 6A). William and Victoria still lived in Frelinghuysen Township in 1930. The census does not list their home as a farm. It also places them in the village of Marksboro. However, their real estate was valued at $4000, which was comparable to the value of working farms in the area. It is very possible that they were still living on the same piece of property that they had owned in 1920. William was 68 and appears to have been retired when the census was taken as no occupation is listed. He and Victoria were renting part of their house to Emmaline Crisman, an 86 year old widow. The Kerrs and Emmaline both lived in dwelling 15. The Kerrs were family 17 and Emmaline was family 18. William and Victoria owned a radio in 1930 (1930 United States Federal Census, Enumeration District 21-6, FRelinghuysen Township, Warren County, New Jersey, sheet 1A, 14 April 1930). William and Victoria are buried in Marksboro Presbyterian Church Yard, Marksboro, Warren County, New Jersey.

He owned a personal estate valued at $300 (1860 United States Federal Census, Frelinghuysen Township, Warren County, New Jersey, page 27). By the time of the 1870 census, Aaron and Laura were married. They were residents of Frelinghuysen Township in 1870 and 1880 (1880 United States Federal Census, Frelinghuysen Township, Warren County, New Jersey, page 318D). Aaron's occupation is given as farmer in both censii. However, only the 1870 census gives values for his real and personal estates, $8000 and $1000, respectively.
