2438 .JESSE CLEVELAND AYERS5 (Jacob Cummins Ayers4, Robert Ayers4) was born 9 April 1888 near Rolla, Phelps County, Missouri and died 20 October 1972 (LDS AFN:33T8-61 LDS Batch #7712501, sheet 37, source call 1059150; Social Security Death Index). He was 64 years and appears to have been retired as no occupation is listed for him. Jesse Ayers was a farmer. The couple's two children also resided ith the family (1930 United States Federal Census, South Fork Township, Christain County, Illinois, enumeratoin district 31). In 1930, Jesse's half-brother, Robert Ayers, lived in the town of Edinburg in Christian County (1930 United States Federal Census, South Fork Township, Christain County, Illinois, enumeratoin district 31). According to the Social Security Death Index both Jesse and Susan lived in Sangamon County, Illinois at the time of their deaths. The SSI index gives in postal zip code area 62558 (Pawnee or Sicily) as their residence. Jesse's half-nephew, Ray Ayers (son of his half-brother, Robert J.
