3125. RICHMOND CLYDE MARTIN⁶ (Walter E. Martin⁵, Benjamin F. Martin⁴, Lydia Read³, John Read², Joseph Read¹) was born April 1895 in Sweetland Township, Muscatine County, Iowa and died unknown. His parents had moved to Sweetland in 1892 (1900 United States Federal Census, Enumeration District 110, Sweetland Township, Muscatine County, Iowa, sheets 7A-B, 18 June 1900, Richman 1911:585). He appears on the 1900 census as age 5, living at home with his parents in Sweetland Township, Muscatine County. He also lived with his parents in 1910 on their farm in Sweetland Township, Muscatine County, Iowa (1900 United States Federal Census, Enumeration District 110, Sweetland Township, Muscatine County, Iowa, sheets 7A-B, 18 June 1900; 1910 United States Federal Census, Enumeration District 117, Sweetland Township, Muscatine County, Iowa, sheet 8A, 2 May 1910). He married circa 1917, Hazel P. (Last Name Unknown). She was born 16 March 1896 in Wisconsin and died 12 March 1988 (Social Security Death Index). In 1920, the couple lived on a rented farm in Wilton Township, Muscatine County. They did not have children (1920 United States Federal Census, Enumeration District 133, Wilton Township, Muscatine County, Iowa, sheet 3A, 9 January 1920). By 1930, the Martins owned their farm in Wilton Township. They also owned a radio. Sixty-seven year old Fred Steiner, who was the son of German immigrants, lived with the family and worked as their hired man. Clyde (or R.C. as he is named on the census) and Hazel had one child in 1930, their daughter Anna Mae. The family lived in dwelling 152. Clyde's second cousin (3096) Gertrude Raub Hetzler⁶ (Arthur Bradley Raub⁵, Sarah Martin⁴, Lydia Read³, John Read², Joseph Read¹) lived in dwelling 148 with her husband and children (1930 United States Federal Census, Enumeration District 70-28, Wilton Township, Muscatine County, Iowa, sheet 7B, 30 April 1930). Hazel's Social Security number was issued in Illinois in 1973 and her final residence was in Muscatine, Muscatine County, Iowa.

3151. (i.) ANNA MAE MARTIN⁷, was born circa 1922 in Muscatine County Iowa and died unknown. In 1930 she lived at home with her parents on the family farm in Wilton Township, Muscatine County and attended school (1930 United States Federal Census, Enumeration District 70-28, Wilton Township, Muscatine County, Iowa, sheet 7B, 30 April 1930). Anna Mae graduated from Muscatine High School, class of 1940 (Auroran, 1940).
