RALPH EDWARD HARTUNG⁷

3420. RALPH EDWARD HARTUNG⁷ (Charles Gwinnup Hartung⁶, Hulda Smith⁵, Elizabeth Read⁴, Isaac Read, III³, John Read², Joseph Read¹) was born 6 November 1920 probably in Hope Township, Warren County, New Jersey and died 3 September 1963 (Anon 2001; Long Island 2005; Loughborough 2001; Ramseyburg Cemetery; Social Security Death Index). Ralph grew up in Hope Township. His parents lived in Hope Township in the spring of 1920, shortly before his birth (1920 United States Federal Census, Enumeration District 159, Hope Township, Warren County, New Jersey, sheet 10B). In 1930, Ralph lived with his parents, his grandfather Hartung, and his two sisters on the family's farm in Hope Township. He and his siter Ruth attended school. His siter Marian was an infant (1930 United States Federal Census, Enumeration District 21-11, Hope Township, Warren County, New Jersey, sheet 6A, 14 April 1930). Ralph married twice. He married Marjorie Brandt in about 1945. They did not have children. His second wife was Coralie Niedig. They had one child, their daughter Lynn Hartung. Ralph died in September 1963, shortly before his 43rd birthday. He is buried in Ramseyburg Cemetery, Delaware, Knowlton Township, Warren County, New Jersey. His grave was visited on 15 April 2005.

3475. (i.) LYNNE LEE HARTUNG⁸, married Roger Helmick (Anon 2001; Long Island 2005; Loughborough 2001). Roger Helmick is a 6th grade math, reading and science teacher at Toano Middle School in Toano, James City County, Virginia (Toano Middle School). Lynne Hartung Helmick organized the Historic Triangle Democratic Women’s Group (HTDWG) in the fall of 1999. She was the group's chair in 2005. The HTDWG provides women from James City County, Williamsburg and upper York County a a social and educational setting and to promote Democratic ideals. Lynne has been a member of the James City County Democratic Committee since about 1997. She is employed by the Commonwealth of Virginia (edpolitics.blogspot.com 2005; James City County Democrats).
