MARIAN IRENE HARTUNG⁷ (Charles Gwinnup Hartung⁶, Hulda Smith⁵, Elizabeth Read⁴, Isaac Read, III³, John Read², Joseph Read¹) was born 1930 probably in Hope Township, Warren County, New Jersey and died unknown (Anon 2001; Long Island 2005; Loughborough 2001). She appears on the 1930 census as a three month old infant. She lived with her parents, her grandfather Hartung, and two of her siblings (Ruth and Ralph) on the family's farm in Hope Township (1930 United States Federal Census, Enumeration District 21-11, Hope Township, Warren County, New Jersey, sheet 6A, 14 April 1930). Marian married William Ray. They had four children: Deborah, Nancy, William and John.
