364. MARY ALMEDA KINNEY,4 (Catherine Read Kinnry3, Aaron Read2, Joseph Read1)was born 4 June 1857 in New Jersey (DiPetro 1998d; LDS Batch# 8514203; Newberry c1934) and died 1936 (Williams n.d.). She married circa 1877, Judson L. Saunders (1930 United States Federal Census, Enumeration District 35-5, City of Scranton, Ward 1, Block 149, Lackawana County, Pennsylvania, sheet 36A, 18 April 1930; Scott-Fritzen 1998). He was born 1857 in Pennsylvania and died 1941 (Williams n.d.). According to the 1930 census, Judson's father was born in Rhode Island and his mother was from Pennsylvania. The 1920 census places the nativity of both his parents in Pennsylvania. Mary and Judson lived in a rented house at 325 Bromley Avenue in Scranton, Lackawana County, Pennsylvania in 1920. They had adopted a daughter by 1920. Her name was Edna and she was a 17 year old student. The census also indicates that she was married in 1920. Mary Alemedy was a home maker. Judson worked as a foreman for an ice cream company (1920 United States Federal Census, Enumeration District 18, City of Scranton, Ward 4, Lackawana County, Pennsylvania, sheet 2A, 2 January 1920). In 1930, the couple lived at 217 Adams Avenue in Scranton. The owned their own, which was valued at $10,000. Although they were both in their 70s, Judson was still employed as a foreman for an ice cream company. Edna no longer lived with the couple (1930 United States Federal Census, Enumeration District 35-5, City of Scranton, Ward 1, Block 149, Lackawana County, Pennsylvania, sheet 36A, 18 April 1930). Rachel died in 1936; Judson died five years later in 1941. They are buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Brooklyn, Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania (Williams n.d.). Child of Mary Kinney and Judson Saunders:

In 1920, Edna lived with her adoptive parents in their rented home at 325 Bromley Avenue in Scranton, Lackawana, Pennsylvania. Edna was a student. According to the census she was also married, although no husband is listed in the census.
