Grave stones of John Read in Union Brick Cemetery, Blairstown Township, Warren County, New Jersey. His stone is located next to a pine tree, which is located adjacent to the Freese plot. Elizabeth Read Ogden Wintersteen's stone is in the row directly at the foot of John's grave. She is buried next to her parents, Gabriel and Mary (Shotwell) Ogden. As of 21 November 2004, her stone was so worn weather worn by acid rain as to be almost illegible. John's stone has also weathered badly since I first viewed it in June 1983.
