He married Helen Marr, in November 1911. She was the daughter of William Marr and Jane Thompson. She was born 11 October 1877, in Streetville, Ontario and died of peritonitis on 31 December 1911, shortly after she and Harry were married. (Howell and Phethean 2000:146).
