930. ADA L. "ADDIE" REED6 (Johnson Howell Reed5, Issac Read/Reed IV4, Richard Read3, Isaac Read, Sr.2, Joseph Read1), was born circa 1878 in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, possibly in Hanover Township (1880 United States Federal Census Enumeration District 109, Hanover Township, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania page 475A, 15 June 1880) and died unknown. She married circa 1897, Joseph M. Welter, the son of Hannah Welter (1910 United States Federal Census, Enumeration District 10, Kingston Township, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, sheet 16A, 10 May 1910; Luzerne County Probate Records, hereinafter LCPR, Wills, Book 38, page 236). He was born circa 1875 in Pennsylvania and died unknown. Joseph grew up in Kingston Township, Luzerne County. He lived with his widowed mother and siblings in 1880 (1880 United States Federal Census, Kingston Township, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, page 184C). After he and Addie married they to settled in Luzerne County. In 1910, they resided on a rented farm in Dallas Township, Luzerne County (1910 United States Federal Census, Enumeration District 10, Kingston Township, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, sheet 16A, 10 May 1910). Joseph gave up farming between 1910 and 1920. In 1920, the family lived at 162 Division Street in the 2nd Ward of Kingston Borough. Joseph was employed as a street car conducter.

1400. (i.) MILDRED E. WELTER7, was born circa 1898, in Pennsylvania and died unknown. Mildred resided at home with her parents in 1910 and 1920. According to the 1910 census, she attended school during the census year (1910 United States Federal Census, Enumeration District 10, Kingston Township, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, sheet 16A, 10 May 1910). She appears to have been employed as a milliner in 1920. Mildred married circa 1924, Edward F. Riefer Stahl. He was born circa 1899 in New York state. In 1930, Edward and Mildren owned a home at 40 Filbert Street in Forty Fort Borough, 3rd Ward. The house was valued at $7,000. The family owned a radio. Mildred's youngest sister, Nola A. Welter, lived with the family. She was 16 years and attended school. Edward was employed as a salesman in the tobacco and confectionary industry. The couple had one child in 1930 (1930 United States Federal Census, Enumeration District 40-47, Forty Fort Borough, 3rd Ward, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, sheet 10B, 9 April 1930). Child of Mildred Welter and Edward F. Riefer Stahl.

(i.) MARION RIEFER STAHL8, was born January 1930 in Pennsylvania and died unknown. She was listed as a 3 month old infant on the 1930 census (1930 United States Federal Census, Enumeration District 40-47, Forty Fort Borough, 3rd Ward, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, sheet 10B, 9 April 1930).

1401. (ii.) ALMIRA WELTER7, was born circa 1901, in Pennsylvania and died unknown. She appears to have been named after her grandmother, Almira Snyder Reed. Almira resided at home with her parents in 1910 and 1920. According to the 1910 census, she attended school during the census year. In 1920, she was employed as a cutter in a shirt factory (1910 United States Federal Census, Enumeration District 10, Kingston Township, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, sheet 16A, 10 May 1910).

1402. (iii.) ARTHUR WELTER7, was born circa born 3 June 1903 in Pennsylvania and died February 1983 in Florida (Social Security Death index). He resided at home with her parents in 1910 and 1920. According to the 1910 census, he attended school during the census year. In 1920, Arthur was employed as a wire spooler in a rope factory (1910 United States Federal Census, Enumeration District 10, Kingston Township, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, sheet 16A, 10 May 1910). His social scurity number was issued in Pennsylvania. His last known residence was in Clearwater, Pinellas County, Florida (Social Security Death Index).

1403. (iv.) CORA WELTER7, was born January 1910 in Pennsylvania and died unknown. She lived at home with her parents in 1910 and 1920. The 1910 census lists her as a 3month old child. She attended school during the 1920 census year (1910 United States Federal Census, Enumeration District 10, Kingston Township, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, sheet 16A, 10 May 1910).

. (v.) WOODROW WELTER7, was born 1912 in Pennsylvania and died 1992. He lived at home with his parents in 1920 and attended school (1920 Census United States Federal Census).

. (vi.) NOLA A. WELTER7, was born circa 1914 in Pennsylvania and died unknown. In 1920, she lived with her parents in Kingston, but did not attend school. By 1930, she lived with her sister and borth-in-law, Mildred and Edward Reifer Stahl. She attended school during the census year (1930 United States Federal Census, Enumeration District 40-47, Forty Fort Borough, 3rd Ward, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, sheet 10B, 9 April 1930).
