Private United States Army.
Son of Thomas Gaines and Emily Barrett.
Husband of Jeannette Alice Pickett.
Born 1900, Sugar Notch, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania.
Died 2 July 1936, Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania.
Buried Oaklawn Cemetery, Lee Park, Hanover Township, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania.

Private United States Army.

The 1930 census indicates that he was a World War I veteran
Son of Peter Anthony Labadie and Mary Ann Norman.
Husband first of Elsie Lydia Keen and of second Kathryn Iona Ramp.
Born 1 July 1894 in Fiddletown, Amador County, California.
Died 14 February 1978 in Sacramento, California.


Ely Budd Light, Jr.
Entered the United States Army from the state of Pennsylvania. He served as a Private First Class, U.S. Army 12th Field Artillery Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division.
Son of Eli Budd Light, Sr. and Alma Pearl Jones.
Never married.
Born 30 March 1900 in Nebraska.
Killed in action 7 June 1918, Battle of Belleau Woods, France.
Buried Aisne-Marne American Cemetery and Memorial, Belleau, Aisne, France, Plot A, Row 10, Grave 48.


Corporal Vinton A. Martin
Enlisted in the Ohio National Guard on 23 July 1913 as a private, assigned to Co L of the 2nd Infantry ONG until 27 October 1917. He was then reassigned to Co H, 146th Infantry until 19 February 1918. His final assignment was with Co B, 112th Field Signal Battalion until his discharge in 1919. Honorably discharge 12 April 1919.
Son of Bion E. and Rosa B. Martin.
Husband of Mabel (Maiden Name Unknown).
Born 13 January 1887 Sycamore, Sycamore Township, Wyandot County, Ohio.
Died 25 September 1972 in Upper Sandusky, Wyandot County.
Buried Old Sycamore Cemetery, lot 46, section 3 Sycamore, Sycamore Township, Wyandot County, Ohio.


Private Ira J. Read
Enlisted as a Private First Class in the Ohio National Guard on 29 May 1917 in Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio. He served in the Medical Department, Field Hospital 146, 112th Sanitary Train, 37th Division until discharge on 13 July 1917. He then served with the American Expeditionary Forces from 28 June 1918 to 24 March 1919. He was honorably discharged on 12 April 1919.
Son of the Rev. Alvin Richard Read and Sarah Ellen "Ella" Seitz.
Husband of Pearl V. (Maiden Name Unknown).
Born April 1895, McArthur, Vinton County, Ohio.
Died 19 December 1960, Columbus, Farnklin County, Ohio.
Buried Unknown.


Robert Walter Read
United States Cavalry, is supposed to have served in France.
Son of Walter Wilson Read and Mary Euphemia "Mamie" Thomas.
Husband of Mildred Stevens Long.
Born 21 April 1894 probably in Scranton, Lackawana County, Pennslyvannia .
Died 25 March 1985 in Vincentown, New Jersey.


William Davis Read
NJ Cook Co G 126th Infantry.
Son of George Albert Read and Eleanor (Maiden Name unknown).
Husband of Charlotte Ribble DeVoe.
Born 25 March 1899 in New Jersey.
Died 18 December 1963 in Florida.

Died 6 February 1971 in New Jersey.
