JOHN CLARK READ6

JOHN CLARK "JAY CLARK" READ6 (Jacob5, John M.4, Isaac, III3, John2, Joseph1), was born 9 January 1875 in Walnut Valley, Balirstown Township, Warren County, New Jersey and was killed in a train accident 19 December 1922 in Conamaugh, near Johnstown, Pennsylvania. He married Nina Catherine Morris, on 19 June 1902 in Dorrenston, Pennsylvania. She was born 23 February 1880 in Sweet Valley, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania and died 27 September 1943 in Indiana, Pennsylvania. Jay Clark worked for the Pennsylvania Rail Road.

Jay Clark Read and Nina Morris had 6 children born betweeen 1904 and 1920. They had 17 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and at least 11 great great-grandchildren. Total identified descendants equals 55.

(ii.) MORRIS "MIKE" READ7, was born 8 February 1906 and died unknown. He married Elizabeth Bowersox. Children of Mike and Elizabeth Read:

(b.) BETTY LEE READ8, was born 4 November 1930.

(iii.) PEARL FULMER READ7, was born 18 November 1913 and died 3 May 1998. She is buried in Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, Pennsylvania. She never married.

(iv.) RALPH HAROLD READ7, was born 8 February 1917 and died 26 January 1918.

(v.) JAY CLARK READ, Jr.7, was born 9 October 1918 and died 9 October 1918.

(vi.) JEANE CEVILLAH READ7, was born 24 October 1920 in Blairsville, Pennsylvania and died 3 December 1999. She was buried 11 December 1999. She married George Smith Thompson. He was born 5 November 1917 in Enterprise (Blairsville), Pennsylvania and died 3 January 1968. They are buried in Mount Union Cemetery, Monaca, Pennsylvania. Children of George and Jeane Thompson:
