0.9 05-May-1996 First incarnation of my own
Home Page (to be hosted at www.charm.net)
1.0 17-May-1996 Reorganized the topics a little better
(more useful).
Realized that these pages will be a'changing
constantly, given that I use them a lot, so
the version will change on a "major" change.
1.1 3-Jan-1997 Set up the PACSpage(SM).
2.0 10-Mar-1997 Reorganized the PACSpage(SM). Split for easier
navigation. Individual pages which are more
topical were created and accessed through the
PACSpage(SM)
2.1 19-May-1997 Improved navigation, added pacssite.htm, and
the feedback page.
This web page has grown from an experiment at my job to create a web page. The initial incarnation of this page started as an internal corporate "Intranet" page. (Of course, it was significantly influenced by me -- I am the only vegetarian at work, and I haven't had too many Enya converts).
This is why there are other sections in this page that would not otherwise be here. Some of them are just a little out of my scope of interests. I figure, I will now use this page, and hopefully some of the people I work with and other may find some of the stuff I have useful. Just doin' what I can...
These pages were designed with HTML Assistant Pro Lite and SoftQuad HoTMetaL Lite under IBM OS/2 WebExplorer 1.03. These pages work fine under WebExplorer 1.03 & 1.01, Netscape 2.0, NetManage NetChameleon, Microsoft Explorer (a little messy), newer versions of these, Word 6.01a add-in (looks really bad -- comments are not removed) and every effort to look OK under text-only browsers has been taken. If it doesn't look good to you, sorry. Get a different browser.
All of my Home Page is written in the first person. One of the things I find weird about home pages are the ones that talk about their subjects in the third person. What are these people, royalty? AAAcccccckkk. Eric John Finegan really doesn't like these Bob Dole wanna-be's. Eric really doesn't. So when we talk about Eric, it will be just like him talking. (Yes it will sound bad, but hey, if Eric could afford a speechwriter, he sure as heck could afford someone to write his page for him.)
You can really tell that an engineer designed these pages, can't you ? (probably closer to an über-geek).
