Pinky and LaCroix??? By Kevin Matsumoto and Casey Carpenter. With Input from Cousin Tok, CJ and Barb, Arletta Asbury, and Cousin Shelley. Arletta's LaCroix used with her permission as is Cousins Tok and Natalie. Time Immediately after "LC and LN Return to CERK" LaCroix woke up from a sound sleep to find he had somehow been transferred to a cage. Sitting up he looked around, the cage was almost familiar. In front of him was what looked like a giant version of the water bottle used for rabbits and there was a giant white mouse standing next to it. Doing a doubletake, LaCroix stared at the unbelievable sight. Slowly looking down at his own body, LaCroix realized that he was also a giant white cartoon mouse! *It finally happened," LaCroix thought to himself as he sighed, *the rift has begun to affect reality itself.* "Gee, Bra.. I mean LaCroix. What are we going to do tonight?" "The same thing ...Nicholas!?" LaCroix turned to look the white mouse again. It had a totally vapid expression on its face but the voice was definitely Nick's. "That's not the way the line reads." Pinky/Nick pulled a script out from behind his back. "It's supposed to read `The same thing we always do, Nicholas, try take over the world...' Narf!" "I'm supposed to make that ridiculous sound?" "What sound? Narf! Poit!" "Never mind," LaCroix growled as he headed for the locked cage. It was obvious to him that he was the only one unaffected by the reality shift. Reaching the locked cage door he gave a tremendous yank and pulled it off of it's hinges. "At least I still have my vampire abilities." LaCroix launched himself into the air. For a moment he hung suspended in space. Then he dropped like a rock to floor far below. "Gee Brai... I mean LaCroix. I thought you knew that Mice couldn't fly?" LaCroix looked around and saw a large red BRICK laying there right next to him. Picking it up, he brought it down hard on the mouse Nick's head. "OHH Look at all the pretty bats! NARF! Poit!" The dazed Mouse stared at the small bats flying around his head. "This is humiliating," LaCroix muttered as he dragged the stunned Nick away by his tail. On their way to the CERK station, LaCroix realized that they could save several hours by taking a short cut through and alleyway. "Uh... Brai... I mean LaCroix," Nick looked around fearfully, "Aren't you afraid of cats?" "This is the alley where that Carouche friend of Vachon's hangs out.. No cat would ever venture near here." "Um, Brai... I mean LaCroix, isn't he the one that likes mice?" "Why yes he is...." LaCroix turned to see Nick looking up just above LaCroix head. As he watched, Nick ducked under a dumpster and pointed to something behind LaCroix. "Well, well... A nice tasty little scrumpet." Screed quickly grabbed LaCroix around the waist. "Oh no..." LaCroix moaned as he saw the fangs coming at him. After Screed had finished, LaCroix felt his strength return. At first he was puzzled then he remembered that a younger vampire had once told him that cartoon characters were unkillable. "Gee Brai... I mean LaCroix, getting bit like that looked really painful. NARF!!!" "Indeed," LaCroix looked around and hit Nick with the first object that was at hand. A rather large red BRICK. "ooohhhh!" This time flying winged bricks flew around Nick's head. " LaCroix grabbed Nick by the tail and quickly headed in the direction of the Radio Station. "Finally," LaCroix sighed as he closed the door of the CERK radio station. "Safe at last." "I don't believe we lost them!" A female voice suddenly interrupted his moment of relief. "It's your fault!" Another voice retorted. "MINE!? I'm not the one who agreed to watch that stupid pile of fur!" "Willow is not a stupid pile of fur!" Cousin Tok replied angrily. "God, Natalie's going to kill us if anything happens to him. Here, Sidney. Good boy..." "Sidney? Willow?" Nick puzzled for a moment, "Oh yeah, the cats" "CATS!!!!" LaCroix panicked as he suddenly realized that he had become trapped in a building with several probably very hungry cats. Inching forward he was startled by a odd sound. Looking around LaCroix noticed several sleek shapes coming out of the shadows. Turning to run, LaCroix was stopped short by the sight of an obviously hungry vampire cat. "Good Gandalf, nice cat" LaCroix stammered as he backed away from the vamp kitty's gleaming fangs. "MROWR?" LaCroix looked up to see Sidney sitting on a table right above them. Next to him sat a small grey cat busily licking its chops. "Not again...." LaCroix almost cringed as he saw the hungry gleam in Sidney's eyes. The last thing he saw was the pouncing figure of the felines descending on him. "NO!" LaCroix shot out of bed as he came out the Nightmare's embrace. "It was just a dream." He sighed as he leaned back, intending to go back to sleep when he heard the *noise*. "But I don't think they make rubber pants our size. NARF!" Racing downstairs, LaCroix found Tok, one of the Natalies, and several others, watching an Animaniacs tape. He watched as Tok put in yet another `Pinky and the Brain' tape. Hitting the eject button he pulled the tape out and crushed it. Turning to Tok he growled. "While you are here, you are not to watch this program again. Do you understand?" When Tok nodded, LaCroix stalked back to Arletta and Shelley's room. Tok turned to look at Natalie, "Geez, you'd think LaCroix had something personal against the Animaniacs or something." LaCroix was almost at his borrowed room when he heard Natalie yell. "Sydney! Drop it. Bad kitty." "Natalie! Don't scold him, he was probably just hungry." Tok said quickly. "Yuck! What was that?" "It was a white mouse." Natalie replied. LaCroix locked himself back into their room and pulled a pillow over his head. "When is this nightmare going to end!?" End.
