a speculative fiction
there is no lie so bold as closed communication/
where the party of the
first part
makes assumptionsas to
what
the party of the second
part
is thinking/
has done/
will say/
might do/
with respect to the
alledged
actions
of the same
w/out considering the
differential
in motives/
from person to person
there is danger
generated from this speculative fiction’
where expectations are built on assumptions/
however
rational/
the lie grows like pinnochio’s nose
fed on whispy dream images
of morning coffee rendevous
smoked gouda in a blue sky w fresh butter
leading to a fixed false belief
in the reality of a fantasy
there is no lie so arrogant and egotistical
as the lie told to oneself
about the secrets in another’s heart
even the creator has given us each free will
yet every day
we exercise our free will upon the minds of each
other
in a desperate attempt at divinity
we feign omniscience/
a
know it all to the extreme
to
the nth degree
with the conviction of a learned teenager
the lie becomes a way of life
this obsession with second guessing
the priveledge of an adolescent humanity
dreading the realtity within the fantasy
when we will have to face the truth
