In the booklet coming with the "Sisters of Garbo" CD, there is a little piece of text about her. It goes like this:

Stina Nordenstam started playing the violin when she was 9 years old. Her father, who is a hobby musician playing swing and trad jazz, had always encouraged her interest in music. But is wasn't until high school that she really started to love jazz.

When Stina graduated from high school, she started performing with her own band, The Flippermen, consisting of older and very experienced jazz musicians.

The last two years Stina has been performing as a solo artist, singing while sitting, barely visible, behind a grand piano. Her debut album "Memories of a Color" was released in 1992. The song "Little Star" is taken from her latest album, "And she closed her eyes".

So I guess she does (or did) perform on stage. Although the picture of her next to the piece of text shows a very shy looking girl. :)
