I'm four months old! Here I am with my Great-Grandma.

Well, I put that passport to good use! My daddy and mommy took me to Japan to meet the other side of my family, including my Great-Grandmother, my Japanese Grandma and Grandpa, various great aunts and uncles, my cute Aunt Mari and her dashing groom, and a whole bunch of other relations. They all welcomed me and I was passed around from one to another like I was some kind of basketball or something...

The trip there was something else, too. We took the scenic route, flying from home to Houston, then on to San Francisco, then Honolulu, then Guam, and finally to Nagoya. On the way back, we flew Nagoya - Guam - Honolulu - San Francisco - Cleveland - HOME! That's around 20,000 miles!! Oh, and while I was in Japan, I rode the famous bullet train, the Shinkansen, between Nagoya and Osaka. Also, in Guam, I got to dip my feet in the Pacific Ocean!

All the while I was in Japan, it was Cherry Blossom season and there were flowering trees everywhere I went. Over there, people picnic under the trees eating big meals, drinking beer and sake, all accompanied by merry singing and laughing.

My grandmother bought me lots of cute baby clothes while I was over there. Here's a picture of me with Grandma. Baby clothing in Japan, like almost everything else, is of very high quality but quite a bit more expensive than in the U.S. My mommy said that she found one thing that was cheaper in Japan than in America...TOFU!

Presently, my measurements are 14.4 pounds and 24.5 inches!
