I'm seven months old!
Today I helped mommy bake bread.
It was a whole-wheat-buttermilk bread made from scratch.
Before starting, you have to read the recipe very carefully.

First you use yeast, water and flour to make a dough.
This bread also has molasses in it.
The dough is warm and mushy. You have to let it rise, which
means that you leave it alone until it blows up like my cheeks.
You let the dough rise a couple of times and in between you knead the dough to make it nice and bouncy.
When it's ready, you split the dough in half and put the 2 pieces in loaf pans.
The dough rises one more time in the loaf pans before going in the oven.
By the time the bread was baked, I was taking my nap.
The warm sweet smell of the baking bread was very yummy, even in my dreams.
There's nothing like a home-baked bread. Too bad I can't eat any yet!
